Kate Smith
Associate Lawyer
Kate Smith is an Associate Lawyer of the firm and a member of the Estate Practice Group.
Kate completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania. She was admitted to practice in August 2007. Kate joined the firm in January 2008.
Kate is currently President of the Southern Branch of the Young Lawyers Committee, Committee member for the Young Professionals Network team, and a member of the Women's Lawyers Association.
Kate's legal interests are in estate litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in resolving complex and sensitive estate matters for clients.
Outside the office, Kate enjoys playing netball, painting and travelling.
Kate was appointed as an Associate of the firm in 2009 in recognition of her growth and specialisation as a practitioner in the Estate Practice Group.
