Kate Moss

Kate Moss is a Lawyer with the firm and a member of the Estate Practice Group. She also works from time to time on special projects in the Commercial Practice Group, including intellectual property matters.
Kate completed a combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania.
Kate is the secretary of the Hobart Community Legal Service Committee of Management. This is part of her social committment to put into the community her knowledge and expertise for the benefit of others. She is also a member of the Young Lawyers Committee and a member of the Elder Law & Succession Committee of the Law Society of Tasmania.
Kate's legal interests include providing sensitive and comprehensive advice to the Executors and Beneficiaries of estates at what can be a difficult time for people. Kate has a particular interest in the ongoing nature of the administration of some estates, including advice to family members about complex estate taxation matters, and the ongoing administration of Trusts arising from estates.
Outside the office, Kate enjoys travelling, visual art and design, and the company of her friends and family.
